JSP Ministries

Joel and Sarah attended Asbury College. Married since 1979, they have served the Lord together in the pastorate and on the mission field. The Purcells ministered in Peru for eighteen years with SIM (formerly Sudan Interior Mission). While in Peru, Joel and Sarah were involved in evangelism, church planting, and Christian literature. Since returning to the United States in 2002, Joel has ministered across the world, coordinating the literature outreach for SIM. Sarah has found great joy in writing and leading Bible studies. The Purcells have three adult children - Samuel, Katie and Luke.
